Just when we thought it was safe to take our eye off the ball, a few more policy documents have been out for consultation. This includes the Mayor’s Draft London Housing Strategy and more changes to the London Plan. The consultation for the Housing Strategy has now closed  – here is my response draft london housing strategy response feb 2014 (1) –  but changes to the London Plan consultation is ongoing. Southwark Council is currently consulting on its borough wide planning document, the Southwark Plan, and has recently consulted on the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Here is my response to the CIL consultation 2014-02-25 CIL charging schedule and SPD respone

Update on Blackfriars Road: residents were disappointed that the Overview and Scrutiny Committee did not reverse the Labour Cabinet’s decision to adopt the SPD – despite the best efforts of the Lib Dem members. Residents are considering their next move. Watch this space…..
